The 2025 M8 adopts the newly upgraded "Shocking Wing" grille design, which is 15% larger than the previous generation. The 2025 M8 offers two power options: 2.0T fuel version and 2.0TM hybrid version. Among them, the fuel version is equipped with GAC's third-generation 2.0T GDI engine, with a maximum power of 252 horsepower and a peak torque of 390N·m, matching the Aisin 8AT gearbox. The hybrid version adopts the 2.0TM+THS II hybrid system, with a comprehensive power of 290 horsepower and a comprehensive fuel consumption of only 5.8L per 100 kilometres.

It is especially worth mentioning that the hybrid system now supports pure electric mode driving, the battery capacity is increased to 25kWh, and the NEDC pure electric range reaches 85km. In terms of charging, it supports 6.6kW AC fast charging, and it can be fully charged in 2.5 hours. The power battery is placed in the middle of the chassis, which does not affect the space in the car.
