Over the past year, this model featuring Chinese technology has crossed 78 countries and regions from Europe to the Asia-Pacific region.

The latest data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association shows that in the first five months of this year, the share of Chinese brands in the European new energy vehicle market has risen from 4% in the same period last year to 7.5%, with BYD accounting for nearly half of the increase. The Song PLUS has been named SEAL U in the European market and has become BYD's second-largest sales pillar in Europe after the ATTO 3 (Yuan PLUS). With the option of both pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains, this vehicle is rewriting the perception of Chinese cars among European consumers.

At the Shenzhen Xiaomei International Logistics Port, the first cargo ship of BYD, "BYD Explorer No.1", is loading thousands of new energy vehicles and preparing to set sail. This ship is nearly 200 meters long and can accommodate 7,000 standard vehicles. It will give priority to ensuring the export of popular models such as the Song series.

BYD plans to establish a self-owned fleet of eight similar vessels within the next two years, completely opening up the logistics channels from its Chinese production bases to major ports around the world. As of June this year, BYD's overseas sales have exceeded 150,000 units, with a year-on-year growth of more than twice. Among them, the Song series accounted for over 30% of the overseas sales.

With the successive commissioning of factories in Thailand, Hungary and Brazil, the Song series will achieve production in multiple locations around the world. From product export to technology export, and then to standard export, China's journey of new energy vehicles globally is progressing steadily.
