According to data released by the Uzbekistan Automobile Industry Association, in January and February 2026, the MG brand's cumulative sales in Uzbekistan reached 1850 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of over 60%. Among them, MG 5 contributed over 70% of sales and became one of the most popular Chinese brand sedans in the local area.
In Kazakhstan, MG 5 also performed well. According to data from the Kazakhstan Automobile Federation, in February 2026, the monthly sales of MG 5 reached 420 units, ranking third in the compact sedan segment, only behind Chevrolet Cobalt and Toyota Corolla. Local dealers have reported that the MG 5 is highly favored by young car buyers due to its sporty appearance and affordable price.
