The XPENG MONA L03 is the first global model under XPENG's MONA series, officially launched on July 16, 2026 at a global debut event in Munich, Germany. Positioned as a compact coupe SUV targeting young global consumers, the L03 was developed from the ground up as a native global vehicle—designed, engineered, and validated to meet the审美 preferences and regulatory standards of 65 countries and regions worldwide.
The MONA L03 measures 4,650 mm (or 4,672 mm for certain variants) in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The design is led by JuanMa López, former Head of Exterior Design at Ferrari and currently XPENG's Vice President of Design, who assembled a global team from 23 countries to bring the "Vital Flow" design philosophy to life. The wide-body fastback silhouette, frameless doors, nearly flush side windows, and ultra-wide curvature rear windshield are complemented by signature T-shaped headlights and a full-width taillight bar. The vehicle achieves a drag coefficient of just Cd 0.228—among the best in its class—through 22 aerodynamic optimizations, which alone contribute approximately 59.3 km of range improvement. Six exterior colors and two interior color schemes are available.
The MONA L03 is offered with both pure electric (BEV) and Super Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) powertrains—XPENG's "one vehicle, two powertrains" strategy designed to accommodate the diverse energy infrastructure and user needs across global markets. The BEV version is powered by a single rear-mounted motor delivering 183 kW (approximately 249 PS) and 280 N·m of torque, with a top speed of 180 km/h. It is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs supplied by CALB, available in 56 kWh and 69 kWh capacities, delivering CLTC ranges of up to 550 km and 650 km respectively. The 0–100 km/h sprint is achieved in as fast as 6.6 seconds. The Super EREV version pairs a 1.5L range extender with a 183 kW drive motor and a 37.2 kWh battery pack. It offers 325 km of pure electric range under CLTC and a combined range of up to 1,380 km, with WLTC fuel consumption as low as 4.96 L/100 km in charge-sustaining mode.

The MONA L03 is fully equipped with XPENG's in-house developed Turing AI Intelligent Driving system. Max variants feature a single Turing AI chip delivering 750 TOPS of effective computing power, with the second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) distilled version scheduled for a Q3 2026 OTA push. Ultra SE variants are equipped with dual Turing AI chips delivering an industry-leading 1,500 TOPS of effective computing power—the first time such computing capability has been brought to the 150,000-yuan SUV segment. This represents approximately 12 to 18 times the computing power of mainstream competitors at this price point. The system is designed to handle a full range of driving scenarios, from narrow urban streets to challenging weather conditions.
Inside, the cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display, a 26.8-inch W-HUD, and a 20-speaker AI sound system. The interior features over 72% soft-touch surface coverage, 14-point massage seats, a passenger-side zero-gravity seat, and a 256-color ambient lighting system. For global markets, the L03 runs on XOS 6, which supports mixed-language voice recognition across English, German, French, and other languages.
The BEV version offers a 102-liter front trunk and a 539-liter rear trunk, expandable to 1,640 liters with the rear seats folded—forming a flat 1.8 m × 1.5 m cargo space. The vehicle includes 40 storage compartments, 23 expansion interfaces, and provisions for tow hooks and roof rails. The MONA L03 is developed to simultaneously meet China, European, and Australian five-star safety standards, equipped with seven standard airbags, 17 active safety features, a full-scenario tire blowout stabilization system, and a driver incapacitation assist system.
The BEV (battery electric) version is powered by a single 183 kW rear motor, available with 56 kWh or 69 kWh battery packs, delivering CLTC ranges of up to 550 km and 650 km respectively. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and achieves a class-leading energy consumption as low as 11.5 kWh per 100 km. The BEV is ideal for customers with reliable access to charging infrastructure who prioritize pure electric efficiency. The Super EREV (extended-range electric vehicle) version combines a 1.5L range extender with a 37.2 kWh battery, offering 325 km of pure electric range for daily commuting and a combined range of 1,380 km for long-distance travel. It runs on standard gasoline with WLTC fuel consumption as low as 4.96 L/100 km in charge-sustaining mode—perfect for customers who frequently undertake long journeys or operate in regions with limited charging infrastructure.
